Artist Statement: Every one of us has that one special thing we crave the most. My ultimate desire? Authentic self-expression as an artist. In a twist of fate, what I crafted for the 2024 Battle of the Rings turned out to be a hand-forged, oxidized sterling silver grail, accented with brass, and adorned with 14k gold and brass beads. Crafting this one-of-a-kind statement ring was akin to the quest for the Holy Grail, fraught with multiple false leads before finding its true form. .

Artist Bio: My art is a celebration of self-expression, embracing spontaneity and imperfections to craft unique and unexpected creations. Raised in the structured realms of sports, math, and corporate life, I found my calling in the creative world after earning an MBA at age 30. My journey led through various art forms before a jewelry class at North Seattle College ignited a passion for silversmithing. Over the past decade, I've balanced this pursuit with a career in nonprofit financial leadership and coaching. My mission is craft life on my terms and inspire others to express their true selves with confidence and joy.
