Artist Statement: Drinking tea in my grandma's tea set is one my sweetest memories. Holding the spot as the second most consumed beverage (only behind water), tea is a means of connections across the world. The stream of hot tea connecting the kettle to the cup is as essential to the structure of this ring as the beloved beverage is to relationships in every corner of the globe.

Artist Bio: My name is Kate and I am a student at Mercer Island high school. My first piece of jewelry I ever made was a bracelet using paperclips.
